What is Induced Laryngeal Obstruction (ILO)?

ILO is difficulty breathing caused by dynamic obstructions of the larynx.

ILO induced by exercise is called EILO.

EILO peaks at maximum exercise, and ends shortly after. This obstruction can cause a wheezing sound.

EILO is often confused with asthma, but they can co-exist.
